Northeast Morning House Fire

EL PASO, TX. -Some El Pasoans have a huge clean-up on their hands afterahouse fireSaturday morning wrought nearly $50,000 in damages.

Around 9:30Saturday morningalong the 10000 block of Galahad, fire crews arrived on the sceneofsmoke and flames coming out of two bedroom windows.

The fire was contained to the back of the house and took about 15 minutes to extinguish. Early indications suggest the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction.

“It looks like it was an overloaded electrical circuit. The circuit didn’t fail, but it failed outside. The circuit in the device, there were a number of cords plugged into it,” said Wade Warling of the El Paso Fire Department.
