City Representative Quintana Arraigned In Court

EL PASO– RachelQuintana, El Paso’s East Sidecity representative, formally said on Thursdayshe is not guilty of forging a document that would have allowed her to fly at a discounted rate with a local airline carrier.
Quintana was arraigned on the forgery charge on Thursday in County Court No. 7. She entereda plea of not guilty in writing during her arraignment.
On October 25, prosecutors allegeQuintana presented a ticketat the airport for a discounted fare for FedEx employees.When she failed to produce proper FedEx identification, Quintana left and returned a short while later.
Prosecutors sayat that timeQuintana presented a forgedletter verifying her employment with FedEx.
After the arraignment, Luis Aguilar, Quintana’s attorney,asserted his client is not guilty of any of the allegations and escorted her away from the courthouse before ABC 7 could ask any questions of her.
