Fatal Crash Ties Up Traffic On I-10 Near Geronimo
EL PASO — A section of I-10 was closed down on Monday as police investigated a fatal crash.
Officers said it happened on the highway near the Geronimo exit after a car stalled out. The two people inside thevehicle got out and tried to run across the freeway, officers said. A semi-truck crashed into the person who was the passenger in the car.
Officers said that person died at the scene.
Police did not say when the interstate would reopen.
