Otero County Administrator Quits
ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (AP) – The man who has been administrator for Otero County for a little over two years has left over a difference in philosophy with county commissioners.
Martin Moore says it was a mutual agreement. Moore says he’s been interested in natural resource issues, such as forest and water conservation.
County officials also were focused on those issues, but Moore says he and commissioners had differences.
He says he was not able to do as much as he wanted.
He did not go into specifics.
Otero County signed an agreement stipulating when Moore would leave following an executive session in which the commission reviewed his performance.
