Police Investigate Lower Valley Bank Robbery

EL PASO — Officers from the Mission Valley police substation investigated a robbery Friday morning to theState National Bank, 7744 North Loop.

Officers continue to lookfor aman who managed to get away on foot, police said. Investigators said he threatened the teller, stating he had a gun, then demanded money and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as a Hispanic male, 35 to 40 years of age, 5’7″ in height, medium build, was wearing a dark brown jacket, blue jeans, and a white crew neck T-shirt. The man was had a mustache and appeared to be unshaven and to have a medium skin tone.

The most distinguishing feature is that the man was wearing a bandage across the bridge of his nose.

Police are asking the public for assistance in finding the man. Anyone with information is asked to call 832-4400.
