19-Year-Old Victim Of Deadly Assault Identified
EL PASO — Police have released the name of a man who died after he was assaulted early Sunday at a house party in Northeast El Paso.
Officers report 19-year old Valentin Ray Rodriguez died from the injuries he received in a fight along the 11,000 block of Golden Pond.
Friends had takenRodriguez back to his apartment at 5317 Woodrow Beanand they spent the night with him, said Ofc. Chris Mears, a police department spokesman.
In the morningthose friendsfoundRodriguezwas unresponsive and called police,Mears said. Officers found him dead at the scene.
No suspects have been arrested in the case, Mears said. The police investigation will continue. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 832-4400.
