Two Men Arrested On Graffiti Charges
EL PASO — Police recently arrested two men on charges of defacingpublic property. Officersnoticed graffiti markings on a rock wall on the 500 block of East Rd. in the Lower Valley.
Witnesses were able give the officers a good vehicle and suspect description which was then circulated to other officers on duty.
Other officers working the area observed a vehicle matching the description in the 800 block of N. Carolina.The officers stopped the vehicle.
The two men inside the car, Ruben Mariscal and Ivan Puentes, both 22,were arrested and charged with a class A misdemeanor.Officers found a small amount of marijuana on Puentes and charged him with possesion under two ounces.
