Wreck Sends Car Into Canal; 2 Rushed To Hospital
EL PASO – Two people are in the hospital following an early Saturday morning car wreck.
El Paso Police officials tellABC-7 the wreck happened in the city’sLower Valley. According to police, an officer spotted what was thought to be smoke or dust coming out of a ditch near Lee Trevino and Highland.
When the officer went to the ditch to check things out, he found a car stuck at the bottom of the ditch, upside down. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, where they had to use the jaws of life to get thedriver and passengerout.
Police have not released the name nor the condition of the occupants of the car.
