Fiery Crash Caught On Tape
EDMONTON, Canada – Investigators in Canada are trying to figure out what caused a fiery crash that left the driver of a big-rig truck dead.
The truck barrelled down the highway going the wrong direction for several miles Tuesday. It finally hit the side of an overpass.
The driver, 25-year-old Mark Santos, was killed. Santos’ family told local television stations Mark suffered from type 1 diabetes. They said they believe he slipped into a hypoglycemic seizure. Witnesses said the truck may have purposely swerved towards vehicles before it crashed.
Police are waiting on autopsy results before they can determine the cause of the crash.
A bystander caught the crash on tape.
