UPDATE: Teen In Critical Condition After Motorcycle Crash
EL PASO, Texas – A teenager continued to fight for his life Monday after a weekend motorcycle crash in Central El Paso.
Hector Garcia, 16, was wearing a helmet when he crashed into the back of a 1993 Fort escort, police said.
The crash happened Sunday afternoon at US 54 North and Montana. According to police Garcia was speeding at the time of the crash. They also said alcohol was not a factor.
The occupants of the Escort did not suffer serious injuries.
As of Monday evening, Garcia was in critical condition at William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
