Vigil Planned For Student Killed In Motorcycle Crash
EL PASO, Texas – A vigil is planned Wednesday night for an Eastwood High School student killed in a motorcycle crash. The vigil will start at 7:30 p.m. at the high school.
Hector Garcia, 16, was taken off life support Tuesday. He was killed after his motorcycle crashed into the back of another vehiclein Central El Paso Sunday. It happened on US 54 North and Montana.
The high school track star donated his organs. His father told ABC-7 his organs could help save the lives of as many as 10 people.
Police said Garcia was speeding at the time of the crash. They also said he was wearing a helmet.
