Fabens H.S. Asst. Principal Arrested For DWI

A District official has confirmed that Fabens High School Assistant Principal, Ruben Carrillo was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated over the weekend.

Carrillo’s mug shot is on the El Paso Police Department’s website for DWI.

According to Fabens superintendent, Poncho Garcia, Carrillo has been working with the district between five and six years.

The superintendent says Carrillo told him of the incident and that “he is still working pending the outcome of the case.”

Fabens administrators have been working since July.

Students start on August 25th.
