Texas Vs. The Nation Game Set For Saturday
EL PASO, Texas — The Western Refining Texas vs. The Nation game will kickoff at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sun Bowl. The game will pit top collegiate players originally from Texas against top players from around the nation.
Some familiar faces are on the Texas team — UTEP kicker Jose Martinez, UTEP tight end Jamar Hunt and NMSU quarterback Chase Holbrook will play for Texas.
Former Cowboys defensive tackle Randy White is in town for the game and so are NFL scouts from the St. Louis Rams and Green Bay Packers.
Tickets are on sale at all Ticketmaster locations and at the UTEP box office.
The game will be nationally televised on CBS College Sports Network (channel 309 on Time Warner cable, channel 152 on Dish Network and channel 613 on DIRECTV).
