Everyday, I realize more and more what an interesting and eclectic place the borderland is. I think what makes me appreciate El Paso more and more is being able to go out into the community and report on the different issues that come up in our border community, whether they be good or bad.

I was born and raised here in the Sun City; I’m an East Siderat heart and a graduate of Hanks High School. As a political and government junkie (both local and national) I got my bachelor’s degree in Political Science at UTEP. I’ve been interested in television broadcast journalism and reporting for as long as I can remember, and began pursuing the career shortly after high school.

I’m proud to work at the number one station in town, KVIA ABC-7. I’ve been here since I was in college and have performed almost every job, either in front of or behind the camera.

What I relish the most about my career is the constant change. Everyday I cover different stories and meet different people. I also like knowing that the stories we tell can bring change on a small or large scale. I love talking to people, meeting new people, and building relationships with anyone and everyone in the community.

You can catch me Monday through Friday, reporting new and breaking news stories during Good Morning El Paso and anchoring ABC-7 at Noon with Bob Harp.
