Qwest Won’t Disconnect SkyWi Customers Until March 9

SANTA FE, N.M. — Qwest has agreed to extend the date of disconnection of SkyWi from Feb. 26 to March 9, according to officials with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission.

The move is to allow customers of SkyWi to transition to new providers. The New Mexico PRC strongly urges SkyWi, Zianet, and OneConnect ISP customers to contact SkyWi to make arrangements for the continuation of their service after the March 9 cut-off date.

The NMPRC has set up a special hotline for SkyWi, Zianet and OneConnect ISP customers to call if they have any questions or concerns regarding their service or if they wish to switch service to another provider. The number is (505) 827-4434.
