PD Looking For Suspects In Putt-Putt, Popeye’s Vandalism
EL PASO — Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are asking the public for information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect or suspects in a pair of East Side vandalism incidents.
According to police officials, someone smashed the window door and four picture windows of the Putt-Putt Golf and Games located at 8836 Montana. Investigators believe the The suspects may have also done similar damage on the same night at Popeye’s Chicken next door.The incident happened in the early-morning hoursof Monday, April 21.
Investigators say the parking lots of these stores are often used by patrons of nearby bars. The time of the incidents suggests bar patrons were in the area and possibly saw this criminal mischief and the person or persons who committed it, police officials said.
Total damage to both businesses is estimated to be more than $5,000.
