Vandals Strike Homes Under Construction In Northwest EP

NORTHWEST EL PASO — A local homebuilder says she is fed up with vandals destroying her construction projects.

Juanita Garciasays her west El Paso home building site is constantly getting hit by vandals. “Since it’s a new subdivision, there’s really no one else living up here. So, they take advantage that it’s desert all behind us,” she said.

Garciagave ABC-7 a tour of one of the houses that was recently hit, and you can see exactly what she is talking about. There are holes in the walls and broken glass at almost every corner of the house. Most of the windows were also shattered.

According to Garcia,police have not been ableto put a stop to the vandalism. Anyone with information on the vandalism, is urged to call police.
