Health Officials Announce 6th Death Associated With Swine Flu

EL PASO, Texas — The death of a 46-year-old East El Paso County woman is the sixth death in the county associated with H1N1 flu, city health officials announced Thursday.

The woman was hospitalized with a flu-like illness, and lab tests confirmed she had H1N1 flu, officials said.

No other information about the death was released.

El Paso County has had 313 confirmed cases of H1N1 flu. Mostof those cases have been mild. For more information about the H1N1 flu, call 211.
