PD: Burglar Makes Women Victims Strip Naked
EL PASO — Police detectives are investigating a series of burglaries in the Far East Sidein which the alleged burglar undresses his women victims.
Thursday June 25, the suspect entered an apartment in the Far East through a front window sometime between 9 and 10 p.m.
Investigators said thesuspect located the circuit breaker and turned off electrical power to the bathroom. The victim, which was taking a shower at the time, was taken off guard and then held captive. The burglar made herpose nude in compromising positions, police officials said.
The samesubject is believed to have been involved in two other similar incidents in the Far East that took place in December of 2008 and February 2009.
The February incident happened at an apartment complex in Horizon City. According to Horizon City police, the suspect entered an apartment through a window at the Tropicana Apartment Complex located at 12199 Darrington Road. The suspect sexually assaulted a woman, police officials said.
Officials with Crime Stoppers said thevictims in the El Paso cases were not sexually assaulted and were only made to pose nude. Theycould not reveal the locations of the alleged break-ins due to ongoing investigations, officials added.
The suspect isdescribed as a black man, approximately 5′ 3″ to 5′ 6″tall. He has curly, black hair, bushy eyebrows, full lips, yellow teeth, and a deep voice, investigators said. He also had a light beard. In the June 25 incident, he was wearing a blue and yellow T-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
