Father, Sons Arrested In Murder Of El Paso Woman In Juarez
JUAREZ — A father and his two sons were arrested for the murder of an El Paso woman in Juarez on July 26, Chihuahua state police said.
Investigators said Solangie Medina, her friends and the three men now detained were celebrating a birthday party near the intersection of Almoloya and Zacatepec streets. They were drinking alcohol, and by the end of the night they were arguing.
Medina tried to get in her SUV, but she then came out of the vehicle and kept on fighting with the men. The man allegedly grabbed rocks from the street and threw them at her. Medina was struck on the head and died, Chihuahua state police said.
Police identified Medina as a U.S. citizen.
Sergio Andrs Trujillo Martnez, 43, was arrested Sept. 28, and Sergio Alberto Trujillo Romn, 19, and Carlos Andrs Trujillo Romn, 27, were arrested Sept. 29.
The three suspects will be arraigned on Friday.
