List Of Hazardous Waste Collection Centers In El Paso

The City of El Paso urges people to properly dispose of hazardous waste and chemicals, such as paint, batteries, cleaning solution, and medical syringes by taking them to one of five collection centers. Listed below are the centers:

Northeast: 4501 Hondo Pass

North Central: 2492 Harrison

Westside: 121 Atlantic (at Doniphan)

Lower Valley: 9000 Escobar

South Central: 4200 Delta

The collection centers will take any of the items listed below:

Automotive Fluids

Oil Filters

Batteries

Rechargeable Batteries (Ni-Cd,Ni-MH, Li-ion, Pb)

Small Button Batteries

Lithium Batteries

Cleaning Products

Drain Openers

Cooking Oil

Fluorescent Lamps

Paint Products

Solvents

Hobby Chemicals

Pesticides

Medical syringes (items should be properly contained and labeled)

Lawn & Garden Products

Pool Chemicals

Propane Cylinders

Items Labeled: Acid, Flammable, Caustic, Poison, Caution, Toxic, Danger or Warning
