2 Rollovers Close Transmountain Road Early Wednesday

EL PASO, Tx. – Transmountain Road was closed for nearly 3 hours Wednesday morning as 4 vehicles wrecked, with two of the cars rolling over.

El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies received the call shortly after 10:30 Wednesday morning, as somehow four vehicles wrecked, just north of the Transmountain – Resler intersection.

According to emergency radio dispatchers, two of the vehicles rolled over, with at least one of them ending up on its side, blocking one lane. Numerous emergency units, as well as El Paso Police and Sheriff’s Deputies, criss-crossed the road, attending to the injured.

As of late Wednesday night, there was still no official cause for the wreck, nor was there any word on injuries.
