Da Vinci Experience

The El Paso Museum of History will be the next stop along the way for The Da Vinci Experience, an exhibit like no other. The exhibit is available through the Museum of Leonardo Da Vinci in Florence, Italy. It consists of more than 60 machines described and designed by Leonardo Da Vinci as well as replicas of his paintings; most notably the Mona Lisa. The exhibit will take over the entire first floor of the Museum. It is displayed in four principle galleries focusing on the topics of transportation, military, mechanical devices, and an art gallery.

This will be the first time the El Paso Museum of History will charge an admission fee to cover the expenses involved with such an exhibit. The fee structure is below. Tickets are available now at TicketMaster. The exhibit is mostly interactive; children and adults and will have the opportunity to operate machines designed by one of the world’s true Renaissance Men. Numerous education programs and lectures will take place during the six-month stay. Las Palmas Medical Center, the exhibit’s primary underwriter, currently has surgeons using the Da Vinci Robot. The Robot is re-writing accepted standards for surgical care. The Da Vinci Experience is coming to El Paso in cooperation of the El Paso Convention & Visitors Bureau. 50,000 visitors are expected to enjoy the exhibition.
