Candidates For TX State Representative, District 78

Texas House District 78 covers all of West and much of Northeast El Paso.

Two newcomers are vying for the only Republican House district in the county: Jay Kleberg and L. Rene Diaz.

Also in the race, Dee Margo, who defeated longtime representative Pat Haggerty in the 2008 Primary, but lost to Democrat Joe Moody in the general election.

The winner of the March 2nd Republican Primary will face incumbent Democrat Joe Moody in November.
