Police Issue 40 Citations At Underage Day-Drinking Party In Northeast

El Paso Police issued 40 citations for underage drinking when officers busted a party at 10:47 a.m. Tuesday in Northeast El Paso.

Ages of those cited ranged from high school teens to 20-year-olds. One of the students who attended the party told ABC-7 it started at 8:30 a.m.

Police found forty empty beer cans, two empty vodka bottles, and a cooler containing what was described to the officers as “jungle juice” in the home.

El Paso Independent School District police officers, numerous parents, and administrators from two Northeast high schools were called to the scene. Consumption or possession of alcohol by a minor is illegal and is punishable as a Class C misdemeanor.
