Dispose Of Your Old Tires Properly

Residents can bring their old, unwanted tires to one of the City of El Paso’s five Citizen Collection Stations for disposal Tuesday through Saturday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

These services are available only to residents who pay monthly solid waste fees to the City of El Paso. Residents must present a recent El Paso water utility bill and identification matching the household address.

The five Citizen Collection Stations are listed below:

Northeast: 4501 Hondo Pass

Central: 2492 Harrison

Westside: 121 Atlantic

Southside: 4200 Delta

Eastside: 9000 Escobar

Residents who are ineligible for this free service can bring their tires to the Clint Landfill at 2300 Darrington Road, which is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tire disposal fees at the Clint Landfill are listed below:

$2.00 for each 16 inch diameter or less

$3.00 for each 17 to 18 inch diameter tire

$6.00 for each 19 to 25 inch diameter tire

$10.00 for each tire over 25 inches in diameter
