City Council Approves Resolution Denouncing Arizona’s Immigration Law

El Paso City Council voted 7-1 Tuesday to adopt a resolution denouncing Arizona’s new immigration law, asking President Obama to get the ball rolling on immigration reform, and boycotting the state of Arizona.

City Rep. Carl Robinson was the only person to vote against the resolution. Robinson did not say a single word during the hearing.

The City of El Paso will not send any employees to train or do business in Arizona.
