Three Men Hit While Reportedly Attempting To Change Tire

Three men were hospitalized after they were hit by a vehicle while reportedly changing a tire on the side of the road early Sunday morning.

The crash happened shortly after 2 a.m. on Gateway West near I-10 and Lee Trevino.

Two of the men were discharged from Del Sol Medical Center Sunday morning, while a third person had not yet been released. There was a loose tire next to a blue Honda and a white pickup truck at the crash scene.

Paramedics took the driver of the Honda to University Medical Center.

The Honda sustained major front-end damage. Authorities have not released the names of the victims as of early Sunday morning.
