Police: Speed Factor In Morning Crash
Police said speed was a factor in another deadly crash on El Paso roads this weekend.
It happened just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 7800 block of Gateway East near Giles Road.
Officials said 24-year-old Manuel Mendoza, the driver and only person in the truck, died at the scene.
According to authorities, Menodza lost control and the truck flipped onto its roof.
Investigators said Mendoza was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected.
