Police Search For Man Accused Of Assaulting Teen

A 13-year-old was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man more than twice her age. Now authorities are searching for the suspect.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 33-year-old Oscar A. Luevano.

Las Cruces police say Luevano allowed the victim and two other young girls to drink alcohol at his home earlier this week.

At some point during the evening, officials said Luevano is accused of having sexual contact with the 13-year-old.

The suspect is charged with several counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Luevano is described as 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. Officials said he has brown hair and brown eyes.
