New Details In Ruidoso Plane Crash

New details have surfaced regarding last week’s deadly plane crash near Ruidoso.

Five people were killed when the pilot reportedly missed the runway. According to a preliminary National Transportation Safety Board report obtained by ABC-7, one of the two brothers who survived the crash actually directed paramedics to his parents and to another family member who was still trapped inside.

He also told investigators it felt like the plane was being tossed around by the wind.

In the NTSB’s report, airport personnel noticed the plane was a little high on approach, and that it suddenly began a rapid descent at a 60-degree angle.

The two boys are still being treated at University Medical Center in El Paso.
