XHIJ-TV: El Paso Man Found Guilty Of Raping Women In Juarez

An El Paso man accused of raping women in Juarez has been found guilty, according to ABC-7’s news partner XHIJ Channel 44.

Mexican authorities say Jorge Mendez Navarro attacked at least 19 women. State police say Navarro preyed on women near the international bridges so he could escape to the U.S. if necessary.

Navarro, whose trial only covered five counts, will be sentenced on Monday. Stay with ABC-7 for any new information on this story.
