Plane Aborts Takeoff From El Paso Airport After Reports Of Smoke In Cabin
Pilots aborted takeoff of a United Airlines flight out of the El Paso International Airport Wednesday morning after initial reports of smoke in the cockpit.
Firefighters on the scene reported no smoke in the cockpit but did say a smell of coolant was coming out of one of the overhead baggage areas, according to emergency radio transmissions.
The plane returned to the terminal.
