Chances For Scattered Storms Today Increasing

The East and Northeast has received moderate to heavy rain so far, with some flooding.

The chance for rain through 5 p.m. is 40 percent. After 5 p.m. the chances for rain increase to 50 to 60 percent.

Huge cells of storms aren’t expected, but smaller, scattered storms are expected. A flash flood watch is in effect through late tonight.
