Visitor Sign-In Policies In Local Texas School Districts
El Paso Independent School District: Visitors check in at the front desk or principal’s office by signing in and receiving a pass. Visitors who wish to visit a classroom need approval from the school principal. There is no scanning component during the sign-in process.
Ysleta Indepenedent School District: Visitors check in at the front desk or principal’s office by signing in and receiving a pass. Visitors who wish to visit a classroom need approval from the school principal. Volunteers undergo background checks. There is no scanning component during the sign-in process.
Socorro Independent School District: Visitor sign-in process varies from school to school. Some do use driver’s license scanning software before issuing a pass, others use the traditional paper sign-in method.
Clint Independent School District: Visitors check in at the front desk or principal’s office by signing in and receiving a pass. Visitors who wish to visit a classroom need approval from the school principal. There is no scanning component during the sign-in process.
Tornillo Independent School District: Visitors check in at the front desk or principal’s office by signing in and receiving a pass. Visitors who wish to visit a classroom need approval from the school principal. There is no scanning component during the sign-in process.
San Elizario Independent School District: Visitors check in at the front desk or principal’s office by signing in and receiving a pass. Visitors who wish to visit a classroom need approval from the school principal. There is no scanning component during the sign-in process.
Fabens Independent School District: All visitors must go through the LobbyGuard self-service kiosks where their driver’s licenses are scanned. They must be cleared by the security system before being issued a pass at the front desk.
