Mother Killed Leaves Behind Three Children

Friends and co-workers of 33-year-old Elizabeth Hernandez said they’ll remember her as a woman with a booming smile and willingness to help.

She worked as the receptionist at El Paso Cardiology Associates for five years, according to her co-workers.

Hernandez was killed over the weekend when a driver trying to avoid a separate wreck slammed into her and another woman while they walked along Transmountain Road. The two were preparing for the upcoming Transmountain Challenge Run.

Now, her friends and co-workers are coming together to help the three children she leaves behind. Hernandez was a single mother and the sole provider for her children.

So in order to help raise money to take care of the 3 children a memorial fund for Elizabth Hernandez has been set up at GECU. It’s called The Elizabeth Hernandez Memorial Account, and the number is #8283893.
