Woman Accused Of Trying To Kill Her Husband
A woman has been arrested and accused of trying to kill her husband.
El Paso police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 10400 block of Centaur.
Investigators said Diana Zambrano and her husband Jacinto Zambrano, both 57, were arguing just before midnight.
Police officials said the husband was trying to walk away from his wife when she pulled out a handgun and started shooting at him.
According to authorities, Diana shot at her husband least three times – hitting him once in his left shouler area.
They said the other bullets lodged into the walls inside the home.
Jacinto was taken to William Beaumont Army Medical Center for treatment of what is believed to be a non life-threatening gun shot wound, police said.
Diana has been charged with one count of criminal attempt murder.
