The Texas Senate needs a Lt. Governor who is a fiscal conservative to lead the way to balanced budgets with the right prioriites. We must reduce the various taxes on individuals and correct the inequaliites of the new franchise tax on small to medium businesses.The projected shortfall for the currently proposed 2011-12 budget is $18 billion. We need a 2011-12 budget plan with spending prioriites that provide for the mandates of the Texas Constitution and encourage excellence in governance and education. I am the candidate for Texas Lt. Governor best able to understand and reach these goals.
