Man Tries To Steal Kiss From Woman, Gets Arrested Instead
A scary situation for a woman trying to help a man find his hotel room.
Bupinder Saran, 35, has been arrested and charged with unlawful restraint.
El Paso police investigators said at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, the Canadian man asked a woman at a Best Western on Gateway Boulevard East for directions to get to his room.
As the victim began to help Saran, officials said he grabbed the victim, pushed her into a room and asked for a kiss and a hug from her.
According to authorities, the woman refused Saran’s request and struggled to get away from him for about 30 minutes.
The victim was able to get away from Saran and call police.
Saran was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Jail on a bond of $750.
