Rescued El Paso Dog Wins National Award

Jojo, a 9-month-old pitbull who works with people taking physical therapy, has been named the grand prize winner in the Pro Plan Doing More for Pets contest.

Jojo will be honored at the national dog show presented by Purina in Pennsylvania this month.

A few months ago, Jojo was in need of therapy herself after she was hit by a car and left for dead. With some help from From The Heart Animal Rescue, Jojo can now walk. From the Heart will receive $5,000 worth of pet food coupons.

Jojo helps those in need of physical therapy at the El Paso Orthopaedic Center.
