Minivan Catches Fire On I-10 Near Resler
A scary moment for a group of motorists after the minivan they were in went out of control, slammed into a median and burst into a ball of flames.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m. Sunday along Interstate 10 east near Resler.
El Paso fire officials told ABC-7 four people were pulled out of the minivan by other motorists who raced to the rescue.
Those drivers were able to pull the injured people to safety just before the car became completely engulfed by heavy flames and smoke.
Emergency crews got to the scene shortly after and extinguished the flames.
The four people were taken to local hospitals.
Investigators believe the driver of the minivan was speeding when it lost control.
