Man Charged With Murder In Vehicular Death
El Paso Police have charged a man with murder after Fernando Vargas, of the 1100 block of Duke, died as a result of injuries suffered when he was run over early Saturday morning.
Darrell Brown, 19, of the 7700 block of Corozal, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet truck on Trowbridge after an altercation at the Golden Nugget Bar and allegedly struck Vargas with his the truck.
Brown has been charged with Murder. His bond was set at $100,000.
Police said this is the fourth homicide of the year.
