East Side Drug Bust Yields More Than 800 Pounds Of Pot

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested three men after more than 800 pounds of marijuana was seized in east El Paso just before midnight on Thursday.

Officials said they arrested Miguel Miranda of El Paso, 39; Christopher Francisco Ramirez, 21; and Jose Octavio Romero, 25.

The arrests were made after sheriff’s officers investigated reported drug activity at 12221 Montwood Drive. The address is a Home Depot.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate.
