21st Anniversary Of Las Cruces Bowling Alley Massacre

Twenty one years ago today, seven people were brutally shot – four of them killed – at a Las Cruces bowling alley.

The crime remains unsolved.

“Help please, we’re all shot and hold up Las Cruces Bowl shots fired… Please hurry – they shot me five times.”

That was a portion of the 911 call made by one of the victims the morning of the massacre. Seven people, including two children under the age of 10, were brutally shot on Feb. 10, 1990.

Ida Holguin, who survived the massacre, said she believes the gunmen will be caught.

“A Nightmare in Las Cruces,” a documentary on the massacre, will be showing in Las Cruces at the Cineport 10 inside Mesilla Valley Mall in Las Cruces. Showtimes are: 4:30 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9:30 p.m.
