Police: Man Admits ‘I Ate Some Weed, You Know, Dog’
An El Paso man allegedly got rid of marijuana by eating it.
Police say an officer pulled over Richard Parker on the 2200 block of North Stanton Street in West El Paso due to a defective brake light early Wednesday morning. It was then that the officer said he smelled marijuana from inside Parker’s Lincoln.
According to police, the officer noticed Parker’s mouth was full and asked him to open it. When Parker did, the officer saw fresh pot in his mouth.
Parker refused to spit it out, according to police.
After being arrested, Parker allegedly told the officer “I ate some weed, you know, dog.”
Parker was charged with tampering with physical evidence and taken to the El Paso jail under a $5,000 bond.
