El Paso Police: Man Steals Big Screen TV, Walks Back Into Store And Steals Another

El Paso Police say that a man walked into a store, stole one big screen TV and then walked back in and stole another on Wednesday afternoon.

Daniel Fuentes, 34, of the 10900 block of Tom Weiskoph, was placed under arrest for Theft Over $1,500 and Under $20,000. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail on theft charge and an outstanding municipal warrant with bonds totaling $1,777.13.

Walmart security at the store’s 10727 Gateway West store told police Fuentes walked into the store and removed one of the televisions, placed it in a vehicle, and then he returned to the store moments later and took the another TV. One TV was 47 inches wide and the other was 52 inches wide.

Both televisions were taken without being paid for, according to police. Fuentes allegedly fled when approached by store staff. Fuentes was found by officers in the 10900 block of Tom Weiskoph and the televisions were located a short distance away, according to police.
