New Owners for the El Paso Diablos

The El Paso Diablos will hold a news conference Friday afternoon to announce the team’s new owners.

ABC-7 reported the baseball team was close to being sold in May. Two sources close to the team told ABC-7 the team would stay in El Paso, although it is unclear whether the team will be owned by a local group.

The Diablos face off against the Amarillo Sox Thursday night.

The news conference will be at Cohen Stadium’s Hall of Fame Room Friday at 4 p.m.
