Bus Crashes Into Police SUV On I-10
An El Paso Police SUV sustained major damage as a result of a Saturday morning crash, according to department officials.
Investigators said a police supervisor stopped his marked SUV on I-10 west near Cotton around 9:45 to clear debris, a cooking grill, out of the freeway lane.
According to police, traffic was moving to the other available lanes when a tour bus, headed for California, failed to clear the lane and struck the police unit.
Police said the bus driver then tried to move to another lane and hit another vehicle..
No major injuries were reported, but I-10 west was reduced to two lanes until around 12:30 p.m.
Investigators have not said if anyone was cited.
