Owner Shocked After Neighbor Allegedly Threw Kitten ‘Like A Baseball’

A man is in jail, accused of committing a chilling act of violence against a 5-week-old kitten.

The kitten’s owner, Bernd Gregor said his son and his roommate, Frank McLung, where outside their Chaparral home Saturday when, according to Gregor, McLung grabbed one of his small kittens and threw it against a wooden post.

“That’s uncalled for,” Gregor told ABC-7. “It’s a defenseless animal. It wasn’t bigger than my fist. Frank went nuts. (He) took the kitten and threw it like a baseball.”

Gregor told ABC-7 his son immediately called the Dona Ana County sheriff’s office. Investigators said the kitten died instantly, as it was found to be healthy otherwise.
