Man, Teenagers, Break Into Lot, Burglarize Vehicles, According to Deputies
El Paso County Sheriff’s Investigators said a man and two teenage boys broke into an auto auction lot and tried to burglarize several vehicles.
Deputies said that on Tuesday, July 20th, a security guard saw the three suspects enter the Robertson’s Auto Auction lot at 11100 Gateway East. When deputies arrived, they set up a perimeter around the lot and searched for the suspects. A deputy found two of the suspects hiding between cars.
A human tracking dog then located the third suspect, who was hiding underneath a car. Manuel Aguirre, 21, was taken into custody and charged with criminal mischief, criming trespass and engaging in organized criminal activity. His bond for all three charges was $4,500, which he posted the next day. Two boys, ages 14 and 15, from Socorro, were charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass and engaging in organized criminal activity. They were referred to the Juvenile Probation Department.
Investigators found a duffle bag with multiple tools at the scene.
